Named ‘Dastan-e-Jaan-e-Aalam’, this storytelling performance has been backed by years of in-depth research and is aimed at busting myths around Awadh’s last Nawab while also highlighting the influence he has had on the city’s past and present.

Commenting on his upcoming show, Dr. Himanshu Bajpai said that he wants to “invite people of all ages and walks of life to this show and that’s why the iconic Sahu Theatre has been chosen as the venue”.
He further added that “the amount of misinformation and sensationalism around Nawab Wajid Ali Shah exceeds the genuine information about him. With their storytelling performance, Dr. Himanshu and Dr. Pragya want to fix that”.
Another rarity about the show is that Sahu Theatre doesn’t usually host such cultural performances, that too for FREE. As Dr. Himanshu says, it has been done to bring as many people as possible to the show.
