Recently, IndiGo officially launched its much-anticipated direct flights from Mumbai to Seychelles, marking its 39th international and 130th overall destination. The new route, operating four times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays), promises seamless connectivity to the tropical paradise famed for its pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and lush forests.

Flights will depart Mumbai at 7:20 AM, arriving in Seychelles at 10:35 AM, with return flights leaving at 6:15 PM and landing in Mumbai at 12:35 AM the next day. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed excitement about the new route, highlighting its potential to strengthen cultural ties and offer travellers more opportunities to explore Seychelles’ stunning beaches and vibrant landscape.
The move aligns with IndiGo’s aggressive international expansion, targeting 14 new destinations in 2025-26. The airline is also set to receive its first Airbus A321XLR by June 2025, enabling longer non-stop flights to Europe and Asia.
Tickets for the Mumbai-Seychelles route are now available on IndiGo’s website and mobile app, opening doors to an idyllic island escape.
