‘Bira’ means brother in North India and the desi founder Ankur Jain had introduced us to his brand back in February 2015! The initial manufacturing unit was placed in a region of Belgium but it was soon shifted to Indore after the raging success!
The Bira 91 beer ingredients were picked from Belgium, France, Himalayas and the Bavarian farms and then the beer was exported to India after the massive profits and positive reviews from the urban masses!
Bira 91 also became the most preferred beer as it has a crisp taste yet consists of just 90 calories for a 330 ml bottle!
Ankur was quoted saying,
“Bira 91 Light is the lowest calorie option for any alcoholic beverage in the bar. It is lower than a glass of champagne, much lower than Breezers, wine, or cocktails. Heck, its even lower than a glass of milk or orange juice!”
