The second hottest day of February recorded in the last five years was Monday, with maximum and minimum temperatures spiraling 3 degrees above the normal temperature. The maximum temperature on Monday stood at 31.5 degrees celsius. The sultriness in the weather is to remain the same for the next 5 days, in all probabilities.

The maximum temperature as of Monday was 3.7 degrees above the normal temperature, i.e. 31.5 degrees celsius, whereas the minimum temperature was 15 degrees celsius, also standing 3.1 degrees above the normal temperature.
