In order to expand its inter-state travel network, Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTC) will resume the Volvo AC bus service from Goa to Shirdi and back. Reportedly, the buses on the said route will start operations on Sunday, October 16. At present, KTC operates buses on 250 intra-state routes and over 50 inter-state routes from Goa to Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana.
The move is aimed at addressing the increased number of pilgrims from Goa to Shirdi. The buses on the route will cater to passengers not only from Goa but also from Pune. As per the officials, the route that has been decided runs via, Ponda, Panaji and Pune.
Passengers can visit KTC official website for booking tickets online. Additionally, offline booking is also available at KTC’s offline booking offices which are open for reservation from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
