Villagers near Jaipur city to soon benefit from government schemes, sitting at home

The 'DigiGaon' scheme under the umbrella of the Digital India campaign, is expanding its services in all Gram Panchayats of the Rajsamand district and soon, the public can avail its benefits. With the introduction of the Common Service Centres (CSC), villagers will be able to reap benefits of the government schemes, right at home soon and in a transparent manner to maintain credibility. Wednesday onwards, Lucknow will be hosting the cast and crew of John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer Satyameva Jayate 2 and the team will continue its operations till January 2021.

The country's first sand dune parks to be in Goa; 3 crores sanctioned by the World Bank

Morjim and Galibaga beaches are among the ones, who'd be getting this sand dune feature.

The coastal sand dune ecosystem in Goa, which has been long-neglected, is now in for a solid revamp. Approximately 3 crores have been sanctioned to the state by the World Bank, after the body approved a proposal drafted by the Goa state biodiversity board. Under this programme, Goa will soon be a home to India's first sand dune parks and interpretation centres, along a few stretches. The National Green Tribunal also directed PWD, Goa and other concerned authorities to take immediate remedial measures for the restoration and regeneration of the sand dune ecosystem.
