The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has commenced the application procedure for the third batch of the eMasters in Cybersecurity program. The program will target working professionals who are willing to hone their skills amid the changing scenarios of cyber security. Furthermore, IIT Kanpur’s eMasters degree program offers an industry-focused curriculum with flexible completion timelines (one to three years).
With the next batch commencing from January 2023, the application process has already been kicked off by the institute and will continue till Nov 12, 2022.
Eligibility criteria for the eMasters program
The 60-credit, 12-module course offers weekend-only live interactive sessions curated by IIT Kanpur faculty. The online sessions are delivered to the participants via a digital delivery platform, ipearl.ai. Furthermore, as the program is of hybrid nature, campus visits and offline sessions are also offered to the participants.
The selection for the program is based on the professional and academic background of an individual. Moreover, other eligibility parameters include:

Bachelor’s Degree (4 years program) or a Masters’s Degree in the relevant discipline (Computer Science/Information Technology/MCA, etc) with at least 55% marks.

Minimum of 2 years of work experience (candidate not necessarily needs to be employed currently).

Relevant experience in the field will be preferred.
Perks and benefits of an eMasters course from IIT Kanpur
The credits earned during the eMasters programs can be transferred to an advanced degree (regular Mtech or PhD) at IIT Kanpur. Moreover, the participants are also offered IIT Kanpur alumni status, access to IIT Kanpurs placement cell, alumni network, and incubation cell.
