Restrictions on the Naubasta-Hamirpur highway have been lifted by Kanpur District Administration. The restrictions were in place on the movement of heavy vehicles on the road.
With heavy vehicles being diverted to state highways, the latter were witnessing increased pressure, leading to severe congestion. The decision to lift the restrictions has been taken to reduce inconvenience faced by those taking the state highways.
