With an aim to promote a healthy lifestyle, a one-of-a-kind fitness marathon is being organised in Kanpur. This marathon is every aspiring fitness freaks dream come true. The All India Virtual Marathon/Cyclothon allows people to run, jog, cycle or walk a 21 kilometre goal in a set number of days. You can take up this challenge at any time and any place of your choice, be it a gym, a park, your home treadmill or your rooftop!
All you have to do is download any timing app from Google Playstore or Apple Appstore and reach the designated goal of finishing a specific distance by any means. Participants will have to record and share their cycling/walking/running/jogging time through the app. You can use apps including Strava, Runkeeper, Nike, Runtastic or any other application with similar features.
Knock Knock
The marathon/cyclothon aims to promote fitness in India and will be organised in 100 countries simultaneously. Once finished every participant will receive a participation certificate and a unique ‘Save Water’ medal.
All you have to do is share a screenshot of your Timing App on – Whatsapp 8097712656. 29th February has been set as the last date to register, you can share timing app screenshot till 15th March.
