This summer, enroll in Kanpur Boat Club's water sports training camp
Efforts to make Kanpur Boat Club an accessible hub for water sports are on in full swing. In the same vein, a water sports training camp is all set to kick off at the facility from May 15. At this 12-day training camp, children between the age of 8 and 14 will be imparted comprehensive training in water sports like kayaking, canoeing and rowing.
Joining this water sports training camp for a nominal fee
Children in the eligible age group can register themselves for the camp by visiting the Kanpur Boat Club at Ganga Barrage between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Furthermore, the fees for joining this water sports camp at Kanpur boat club is ₹300, as per Harish Chandra Shukla, one of the appointed coaches for the camp.
Training camp for adults also coming soon
A 2-day trial camp for water sports will also be held at the boat club during the above-mentioned 12-day camp for children. People from all age groups will be allowed to participate in the trial camp.
Adults who develop an interest for water sports during the 2-day trial camp can later join the full-fledged water sports training camp for people of all age groups at Kanpur boat club, which is expected to kick off at the facility in June.
