Amitabh Bachchan begins shooting for his next in Lucknow and you would not recognize him

Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary angry man has begun shooting for his upcoming stint Gulabo Sitabo in Lucknow. Though the actor has visited Lucknow on several occasions, it is the first time that he will be shooting for a project in the city.

Amitabh is shooting in the city of Nawabs for his upcoming movie with Ayushmann Khurrana.

The ‘Black’ actor took to his twitter to share the news with his fans. “One done another begun. travel, location change, look change, crew change, colleagues change, city change, and story change. From Lucknow today ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ and the look!!!??? well.. what can I say,” he wrote.

The first look from his movie has shocked even the most loyal of fans. In the old man wig and the prosthetic nose, the superstar seems unrecognizable. The look for sure is something we did not expect to see.

Well, the actor did warn us.

Gulabo Sitabo is Shoojit Sircar’s newest project which includes Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, both of whom the director has worked with. Amitabh and Shoojit paired up for Piku while Shoojit also directed Ayushmann starrer Vicky Donor.

The movie is written by Juhi Chaturvedi who has also frequently contributed in Shoojit Sircar’s projects, she co-wrote Vicky Donor, October and Piku.

It is also noteworthy that this is the first time that Ayushmann will be sharing screen space with Bachchan.

Ayushmann Khurrana even took to twitter and shared his excitement about the movie, writing, “@SRBachchan sir aur meri jodi, ekdum gulabo-sitabo si hogi. Really excited to be a part of this project by my mentor @ShoojitSircar! in cinemas this November.”

The movie will be released in theaters this November.
