The CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) in Lucknow, a premier national laboratory under the Ministry of Science & Technology, has announced an opportunity for young scientists. The institute is inviting online applications for 10 positions of Research Interns under its CSIR-CDRI Research Internship Program.

Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences or Chemistry in the year 2025, with Organic Chemistry as a subject, are eligible to apply. The selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,500. The maximum age limit for applicants is 28 years, with relaxations applicable for candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories as per government norms.
The selection will be based on a rigorous screening process. A shortlist of eligible candidates will be published on the CDRI website, followed by an interview. It is important to note that the internship is temporary and does not guarantee a permanent position. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications before the deadline of November 15, 2025.
