Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has reportedly cancelled his upcoming tour dates in Lucknow on April 10 and Ludhiana on April 12. While Aujla’s P-Pop Culture India Tour recently saw successful shows in Delhi and Kolkata, these upcoming stops have been pulled from the schedule. Fans who booked the tickets to the concert received a mail clearly explaining that the show has been cancelled in Lucknow, due to “logistical challenges” and the refund has also been processed. However, no further explanation was given, nor there seems to be a chance of rescheduling the concert anytime soon.
Fallout from Mumbai management issues
The cancellations appear to be a response to the significant backlash surrounding Aujla’s Mumbai concert in March. That event was marred by reports of poor crowd management and logistical failures, leading to widespread criticism from fans and local authorities.
Notably, the response in Lucknow was phenomenal, with tickets selling out within just a few hours. The concert had all the makings of a huge success in the city. However, fans in Lucknow are now left disheartened—waiting for refunds and hoping Karan Aujla makes it to the city sometime in the future.
