Despite the arrival of the monsoon in the state, the weather in Lucknow has remained quite dry this week, with a surge in humidity levels. According to the meteorological department, today’s maximum temperature will reach 34.4°C, with a minimum of 29.7°C. However, the lack of rainfall, minimal wind, and humidity levels exceeding 50% have made the weather uncomfortable for residents.
According to the IMD, the western regions of UP have been experiencing continuous isolated showers. A fair amount of rainfall is now anticipated between July 21 and 22 in the eastern regions, including Lucknow.
