Lucknow continues to witness a steady dip in temperatures, accompanied by strong surface winds throughout the day. Over the past three days, icy westerly winds, clocking speeds of 15-30 kmph, have dominated the city’s weather.
Today’s forecast indicates a maximum temperature of 25.8°C, while the minimum is expected to plunge to a frosty single digit of 9.6°C. Residents will witness a spell of pleasant sunshine during the day, but evenings are expected to remain significantly cold, intensified by bone-chilling winds.
IMD has also issued a forecast for light rainfall in Lucknow between December 8 and 9, due to the influence of western disturbances. These conditions are likely to drive temperatures further down in the days ahead.
