In the last couple of years many restaurants, cafes and lounges have opened in Lucknow, providing various places for people to hangout and chill. Yet, Lucknow’s Ashiyana area was bereft of any such hangout spot that would make for a perfect fun day with friends. Not Anymore!
Finally, to answer our pleas, a new beach themed cafe & club called The Big Island is opening in Lucknow’s Ashiyana today!

The interior of the restaurant is unique and quirky, they have tables that are shaped like boats and sofas which are colored in different shades of blue and sea green.
There is also a generous use of brown tones that give the place a rustic and natural vibe, whereas the white chairs act as foam to all the sea like blue that adorns the restaurant.
All in all, the interiors strongly remind us of the stunning beaches and their natural beauty.

Much like the interiors, food at The Big Island is a unique mix of Hawaiian and Indian. Their tangy Hawaiian paneer tikka, juicy chicken tikka bites and the special seafood platter are surely to die for.
The Big Island also has several beachy mocktails, out of which the fruity and summery Island Special Black Currant is our absolute favorite. You can also get different and unique flavors of hookah here.

To kick of their amazing journey the restaurant has organised a huge launch party today at 7 PM and we are going!
The restaurant is opening just in time for winters! So if the cold threatens to dampens your spirits, visit the The Big Island and drown in the colours of summer and spring!
