Negative RT-PCR report or vaccination certificate mandatory for passengers flying to Jaipur

In a bid to curtail the spread of COVID-19, the authorities of the Jaipur Airport have resumed the COVID prevention and control campaigns at the airport premises. After noticing a sudden surge in the city's fresh case tally the concerned health department, alerted the officials at the airport, due to which now a vaccination certificate or a negative RT-PCR report has been made mandatory for people flying to Jaipur.

Expansion work on Lucknow Airport’s runway to kickstart soon

The airport authority of Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport is all set to increase the length of the runway soon. As per reports, the 2740-metre long runway at the erstwhile Amausi airport will now be extended by 300 meters. With the construction work expected to begin soon, this initiative by the authority will make the landing strip cross the 3-kilometre mark.

Air India's new flight from Indore to Sharjah to start operations November 1 onwards!

Adding to the international air travel options from the city, Air India will launch a new flight connecting Indore to Sharjah. As per reports, the new facility will be available from November 1, easing commute between the two locations. Earlier, Air India had launched a flight from Indore to Dubai and this will be the second international facility of its kind. As per the reported schedule, the 3.5-hour flight will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays.

IndiGo to resume direct flight services from Kanpur to these 4 cities from October end

IndiGo is all set to resume direct flight services to cities Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Mumbai from Kanpur's Chakeri Airport. Direct flights from Kanpur to Delhi will commence from October 31 while services to Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru will be initiated from November 1. Various districts across Uttar Pradesh, including capital city Lucknow, have been experiencing heavy rainfall since Thursday morning. The rainfall was followed by hailstorms in some areas of Lucknow.
