MPPTCL to dedicate 3 grid stations to Indore Metro

Under an agreement with the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL), Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL) has decided to dedicate three grid stations for the Metro Rail project in Indore. As per reports, the 220/132KV extra high tension power grids will be placed in Jaitpura, Manglia and Depalpur areas in the district. Reportedly, the construction work of this Indore Metro project is in its first phase at present.

Cable cars will be integrated with Indore Metro for a robust multi-modal transport system

Cable care will now be linked to the Indore metro plan, upgrading the project with multi-modal integration systems. The decision was reportedly finalised in a district progress review meeting of the Metro Rail project, chaired by collector Manish Singh on Wednesday. Indore Metro to be a reality soon; construction work to begin in August!

In an attempt to boost Indore's local transport system, an enterprising metro rail project stands proposed for the city. As per the latest developments, the scheme is all set to enter the construction phase with the rolling out of planned interventions next month.
