Kanpur's Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University slates term-end examinations from July 16

The progression of the activities at the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is scaling in equivalence to the decelerating force of the COVID infection. The varsity's examination committee on Thursday, took a call regarding assessments and late on the same night, an admission committee meeting was held, in favour to begin the university application procedure from June 14. However, reports highlight that the final decision in this regard will be taken in an Executive Council on Monday.

​Next stop, Education: First of its kind, train coach-style school in Kanpur is wooing students!

In a bid to encourage students' interest back to school, an educational institute in Kanpur's Bhitargaon has been remodelled to look similar to a train coach. The classroom and corridor walls have been painted to look like a rail which is bound to encourage students to attend school. Garnering much attention due to its novel approach, the school has lodged its name as the first of its kind to inspire children, returning to schools after an 11 month-long vacation due to the pandemic.

Kanpur to launch 10 new language labs to train pupils in communication & expression

Kanpur is all set to adopt a modern teaching approach in order to impart knowledge in expression, conversation and collective discussions in the English language to the students across the city's Polytechnic institutes. The Directorate of Technical Education has sanctioned about ₹1.75 crores to the city, to constitute 10 new language labs to effectively further this agenda, ensuring the overall development of the pupil body.
