Lucknow University rolls out new  ‘Shodh Medha’ scholarship for female Ph.D. research scholars

The University of Lucknow announced the launch of a new 'Shodh Medha' scholarship programme to relay exclusive financial aid for female PhD research scholars at the varsity. As per reports, the benefit is being backed by the Student Welfare Fund (SWF) at the University which are amassed 150 applications for the same. Notably, LU is already running two other programmes, namely ‘Chhatra Kalyan Schalarship’ and ‘Karmyogi Scheme’ to financially aid students.

Lucknow University to offer ₹15,000 scholarship to its financially deprived students

With its latest initiative, Lucknow University has brought cheering news for its students from economically weaker sections of the society. Under the Student Welfare Fund Scheme, the varsity shall provide a sum of ₹15,000 to its pupils, dealing with financial constraints, as stated by reports. According to sources, the only condition for this reward is that the student must score 60% or above marks in the university examinations.
