BMC vaccination centres in Mumbai to open between 9 am to 5 pm on July 5

Due to the ongoing vaccine crunch in Mumbai, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has decided to limit the number of operating COVID vaccine centres to just 187 on Monday, i.e., half the usual number of inoculation sites. The civic body has announced that only the second dose of the Covaxin shot will be administered today, from 9 AM to 5 PM only. These will be catered by 50% on spot registration and 50% online booking.

All wards in Mumbai to get their own drive-in COVID vaccination centres to avoid overcrowding!

After the effective success of Mumbai's first drive-in vaccination centre at Dadar, the BMC has decided to expand the initiative and set up a similar service across each ward. Reportedly, at least 7 wards in the city are slated to kickstart drive-through inoculation services by tomorrow as per the directives issued by the BMC Municipal Commissioner on Thursday. These centres will specially cater to senior citizens, but only on an appointment basis. These beneficiaries no longer need to step out of their vehicles to get the vaccine.

BMC flags off 5 new vaccination centres in Mumbai to boost ongoing COVID-19 inoculation drive!

In a bid to boost COVID inoculation activities in Mumbai, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Thursday, flagged off 5 new vaccination centres. These centres will operate from 9 AM to 5 PM, in limited capacities, i.e, while walk-ins are permitted (for the second dose), the administration of COVID jab will depend on the availability of stocks. As of today, the vaccination booths in Mumbai are working with only a 20% walk-in allotment.

Maha Govt seeks 12 cr COVID vax doses ahead of Phase 3 inoculation drive in Mumbai & other districts

In a bid to ensure glitch-free operation of the 3rd phase of the COVID inoculation drive in Mumbai and other districts, the Maharashtra government has started to arrange for 12 crore vaccine doses, officials informed on Tuesday. Commencing from May 1, this is the largest segment of the national vaccination drive, expanding the scope of vaccination to all adults. i.e, people over 18 years of age.

BMC flags off 94 COVID vaccination centres in Mumbai on Monday to boost immunity amid COVID surge

Amid the persistent threat of the coronavirus spread in Mumbai, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a list of all vaccination centres which are operational in the city. As per this list, 94 such centres across the MMR are administering the COVID-19 vaccine in a bid to foster a ramped up immunogenic response. This list also includes private as well as Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) centres.
