In a bid to curtail the spread of COVID-19, the authorities of the Jaipur Airport have resumed the COVID prevention and control campaigns at the airport premises. After noticing a sudden surge in the city's fresh case tally the concerned health department, alerted the officials at the airport, due to which now a vaccination certificate or a negative RT-PCR report has been made mandatory for people flying to Jaipur.
COVID-19 protocols for passengers travelling to Jaipur
The protocols of COVID-19 like maintaining social distancing, wearing masks and regular thermal screenings are in place at the airport. Moreover, a negative RT-PCR report is now mandatory for all passengers who are not fully vaccinated and are flying to the Jaipur Airport, added reports. Additionally, regular thermal screening of travellers flying to the Jaipur Airport from Gulf regions like Sharjah, Dubai, Muscat, Doha, is also being taken care of strictly.
A surge in the tally of fresh COVID-19 cases in Rajasthan
Although many states are breathing a sigh of relief with a fall in COVID numbers, Rajasthan is yet to be awarded the same. 17 patients in the state tested positive on Thursday which includes 6 children below the age of 18. As per reports, on Friday a woman who travelled to Ajmer from France tested positive. Health department officials have tested about 10 people who came in touch with this woman and are awaiting results.
