In an effort to bolster safety protocols for women commuters using Mumbai’s local trains, the Government Railway Police (GRP) department has initiated a collaboration with ‘Eve World’ – an India-based IT firm.
This company is the creator of a unique ‘women-only’ social community app, named coto. The app offers women a dedicated platform for unrestricted interactions and self-expression.
Due to this recent partnership, women commuters in Mumbai Locals will be able to share videos, photos or messages expressing their concerns on the ‘coto’ app. The Mumbai Railway Police will constantly monitor the app and will promptly respond to address these issues.
