The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is a treasurable event, held every year to celebrate distinctive aspects of cinema. The star-studded festival provides a platform to filmmakers all across the globe to project their excellence in the art of filmmaking. This year the Information and Broadcast Ministry has started an initiative to identify, encourage and nurture 75 innovative individuals from all across India to showcase their art at the 53rd edition of IFFI in Goa.
Marking the 75th year of Indian independence and to commemorate ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, IFFI 2022 will be held in Goa from November 20 to 28.
Entries open for ’75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow’
Curated by the National Film Development Council, IFFI is a global-level platform, which is held in Goa every year. This year with the ’75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow’ initiative, the festival will pave opportunities for young and talented individuals to connect with the global masters of cinema. The selected individuals will attend workshops mentored by renowned filmmakers and will take part in a group short film-making competition, during the festival.
The ministry opened registrations for the initiative this Monday and will accept entries from filmmakers across India till the 23rd of September. The registration link for the ’75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow’ initiative can be found here.
