Lucknow is witnessing another dip in nighttime temperatures, bringing an unexpected chill for residents. Early this morning, the city experienced moderate fog, with the sun emerging after 8 am. However, a light haze continues to linger throughout the day.
Today, the city’s max temperature is expected to rise by 2°C, reaching between 27-28°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to hover around 10°C. IMD’s forecast further suggests similar nighttime temperatures for the coming three days.
Besides the noticeable return of winter-like conditions, the worsening air quality is a key reason for the evident haze in the city. As of today, the maximum Air Quality Index (AQI) has reached 345, placing it in the ‘Very Poor’ category.
