Lucknow woke up to grey skies this morning, but don’t keep your umbrella handy just yet. The cloud cover is expected to burn off by afternoon, making way for a bright and pleasant day. Temperatures will peak at 32°C before settling to a cool 17-19°C at night. With light winds and humidity ranging from 40 to 70 percent, it’s going to feel fairly comfortable, nothing like the usual Lucknow heat.
The IMD has issued no warnings, so outdoor plans are safe. A small word of caution though, the afternoon sun still has some bite. However, this comfort has an expiry date. Temperatures start climbing from Friday and don’t look back, 33, 35, and straight to 37°C by April 14th. Peak summer isn’t approaching, it’s practically already here!
