Tesla has expanded its customer support network in Ahmedabad with a new Tesla-Approved Body Shop (TAB) on Sarkhej-Bavla Road. The facility will provide Tesla owners with collision repair services, parts and trained technicians. The move comes as the electric carmaker continues to build its after-sales network in India, while making its latest Model Y variants available for customers in Ahmedabad to see and test drive.
Tesla expands repair support in Ahmedabad
The new Ahmedabad facility is part of Tesla’s growing network of approved body shops across India. The company currently has TAB facilities in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi and Ahmedabad. The body shop is designed to give Tesla owners access to trained repair technicians and genuine parts for collision-related repairs.
Tesla also provides home charging support across India as it continues to expand its customer-facing infrastructure. Its Experience Centres are currently located in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram.
Model Y Premium & Model Y L open for test drives
Alongside the new body shop, Ahmedabad customers can now get behind the wheel of Tesla’s latest Model Y variants: the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model Y L.
Priced at ₹50.89 lakh, the Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive seats five and offers up to 2,138 litres of storage. Tesla claims a 0-100kmph time of 5.9 seconds and a WLTP range of up to 500km. Deliveries of the variant began in July 2026.
The Model Y L is the larger, three-row version with six seats and all-wheel drive. It offers up to 2,539 litres of cargo space, a claimed 0-100kmph acceleration time of 5.0 seconds and a WLTP range of up to 681km. Prices start at ₹61.99 lakh.
