Indore-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat route extended; Will provide connectivity till Nagpur

With regard to the increasing public demand for additional train services between Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, the route of the Indore-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat train has been extended.

Starting from October 9, Monday onwards, Train No. 20911, the Indore Bhopal Vande Bharat, will now offer connectivity all the way to Nagpur in Maharashtra. In conjunction with this route expansion, the train's name has been modified to the Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat.

To complete 1 way, interstate journey in 8 hrs

As per the updated schedule, the train will commence its journey at 6:10 am from Indore and make several significant stoppages along the way, including Bhopal, Ujjain and Itarsi, before its final stop in Nagpur at 2:30 pm. On the return journey, the Nagpur-Indore Vande Bharat train (train no. 20912) will depart from Nagpur at 3:20 pm and reach Indore at 11:45 pm.

Prior to the introduction of the Vande Bharat train on the Indore-Nagpur route, the journey between the two cities used to take a minimum of 9 hours and 55 minutes. However, with the advent of this semi-high-speed train capable of reaching speeds of up to 160 kmph, the entire one-way journey has now been significantly reduced to just 8 hours and 20 minutes, offering passengers a faster and more efficient travel option.
