Fisherman’s Wharf in Panjim, is the perfect spot for authentic Goan cuisine & fresh seafood

People who come to Goa often visit the place to party. The beach, the natural beauty and the cheap liquor make for an alluring travel destination where one can unwind and shed the old skin away to dress in a tropically-sunny mood. We love Goa and everything it represents. The mix of cultures is probably one of the most prominent and most easily visible thing about Goa, barring of course the stunning natural beauty. The architecture, food and people, all of them are a testament of Goa’s gloriously tied up past where cultures and cuisines found a harmony which echoes on the beaches and the quaint painted houses.

Hence, if someone wishes to truly understand Goa and all that Goa stands for, tasting the “Goan cuisine” and immersing in the architecture is probably the most fun and interesting way of going about your task. And what if you’re looking for a blend of both? The Fisherman’s Wharf is just the place for you.

Located in Panjim along the Sal river, this heritage restaurant is made in the quintessential Goan style architecture. With a homely yet vibrant front, high ceilings, the iconic Portuguese arched walls and the French style big windows, the restaurant is a beautiful combination of all Goa has to offer. To amplify the sophisticated tropical touch, which we have come to associate Goa with, the restaurant also has an outdoor seating area, complete with a wooden deck overlooking the Sal river. The perfect location and the simplicity of the restaurant call our name but nothing could have pleased us more than the food these peeps serve.
