IMA Goa initiates a web app to assure treatment of infected patients in home isolation!

A guide to the COVID infection, including symptoms, preventive measures and recommendations is also available on the platform.

In an attempt to provide sufficient care and attention to home isolated COVID patients, the Goa, Bardez branch of Indian Medical Association has initiated an extensive web platform called IMACARES. Launched with an objective to provide teleconsultation and other services, the app will help infected patients in Bardez Taluka, as per reports. Additionally, the authorities are trying to extend the scope of the facility across all branches of IMA Goa, at the earliest.

Ranging from video resources to extensive informative material, the app makes sure to equip you with all information about COVID-19. Once you register on the app, you will be asked to provide all the necessary details. Thereafter, you can use the app to maintain a record of your temperature and pulse oximeter readings, If abnormal readings are identified, the volunteers will apprise the doctor and he/she will contact you immediately. In addition to this, the app also includes comprehensive facilities for the doctors and volunteers to help them make informed decisions about the status of the patient. 302 new infections & 419 recoveries marked in Goa on Saturday

While the infection tallies have dipped down significantly in Goa, the state continues to witness a consistent count of daily cases. On Saturday, 302 new cases and 419 recoveries were registered in the coastal state. BMC begins door-to-door vaccination trial for bed-ridden people in Mumbai

The first phase of the doorstep vaccination has been rolled out in Mumbai's K-east ward.

The Brihannumbai Municipal Corporation on Friday launched the trial for door-step vaccination to strengthen its immunity drive for the bed-ridden people in Mumbai. As per reports, the first phase of the door-to-door scheme will be tested in the western suburb of Andheri (East), Marol, Chakala and other areas of the K-east ward.
