What's Happening?

India Heritage Walks is organising a walk through old Goa for the history and architecture buffs who live in the state. This walk will take you along the lanes of Old Goa where you can explore monuments, old churches and learn about the distinct history of Goa.

The walk will take you on a tour of some of the most famous churches of old Goa including the Basilica of Bom Jesus which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier, Sé Cathedral- the Church of St Francis of Assisi, the Chapel of St Catherine, the Chapel of Our Lady of the Mount, the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Church of St Cajetan, the Chapel of St Anthony and the ruins of the tower of St Augustine's Church.

The walk will also allow participants a chance to learn and explore the rich cultural history and stories that are popular about these churches and how they came to be in the old capital of Goa.

Mumbai's Sion Flyover to remain shut on weekends till January 9, 2022 due to repair work

The Mumbai Traffic Police on Friday announced that the Sion flyover will remain closed every weekend, for the next three months, due to the repair work undertaken by the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation (MSRDC). The vehicle shutdown here will be clocked from 10 PM on Saturday to 6 AM on Monday, till January 9, 2022. Several route diversions have been put in place by the city traffic police department to allow an unhindered automobile movement during the closure, added reports. Check all alternate track here:

Amusement parks in Maharashtra to open for visitors from Oct 22nd

Newly launched e-buses to connect Lucknow to nearby rural areas from October 25

The fares for the e-buses will range from ₹5 for 3 km to ₹37 for more than 25 km

The newly launched electric buses in the city will ply on a new route, connecting Lucknow to the rural areas around, starting October 25. This will be the first time that such a service will be deployed in these areas, wherein commuters will be able to travel to and from the city, in the comfort of new state-of-the-art e-buses.
