The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 is set to take place in India, bringing delight to cricket fanatics of the country. The tournament will feature a series of matches between leading international teams in various cities.

The ODI World Cup will commence on October 5, with a clash between the reigning champions, England, and the New Zealand team. While India's opening match against Australia is scheduled for October 8.

World Cup final on November 19 to be played in Ahmedabad's Motera Stadium

According to a recent update, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has submitted the draft schedule of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for approval. As per the proposed draft schedule, BCCI has suggested Ahmedabad's Motera Stadium as the venue for the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match.

The draft schedule also outlines that the semifinal matches will be held in Mumbai and Chennai. Furthermore, Ahmedabad has been proposed as the host city for the final match, which is scheduled to take place on November 19, according to BCCI's draft submission.

Additionally, a total of 11 cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Pune, Lucknow and Dharamsala, have been shortlisted as venues for the highly anticipated ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.
