The people of Indore woke up to a chilly winter morning, that resulted from the light rains on Friday morning. This sudden change in the weather yielded dropping temperatures for the city, attacking the humid temperatures, showering the people with some respite in the form of winter weather. The meteorological department has notified that this weather will extend so for the next two days.
Winter rains soothe Indore with its pleasant showers
The western disturbances drenched the city the showers of a light drizzle, yielding a pleasant cool to the city and its people. As per reports of the meteorologists at the Bhopal weather station, Indore is expected to remain cloudy throughout the day, whereas the rains are expected to last till late in the night. The met centre has also warned the people of foggy mornings, through the weekend.
Indore witnessed a 100% cloud cover, through Thursday night to Friday morning which resulted in the overall dip in the day temperatures, in the city. For the last week, until December 9, Indore’s temperatures have remained over 30 degrees. However, with the intense cloud shade, the temperatures have declined by two degrees since Thursday and the consequent chill have pronounced with today’s pour.
