Nestled within the streets of Gopalbari the place truly is a magnificent sight to behold and doesn’t even feel like you’re in Jaipur. Shrouded among so many green potted plants, the place has a refreshing vibe which keeps you far from the hustle bustle of the city. The warm lighting just adds to the ambience which makes it all the more inviting.

The views of the city that you get from here are as mesmerizing as you’d think and there’s really no turning back from it. In no time, you’ll have enough pictures to flood your instagram feed with- both of the ambience and the food.

As for the food here, it too is something that you’ve never seen or tasted before. The gastronomical delight that is their menu has something to satiate even the wildest pallets, making it a great place for the gourmets as well as the gourmands.

When we last visited the place, we went absolutely bonkers with our order and tried to not miss any of the delectable dishes. Needless to say, we paired them off with some coolers and shakes which made for the best summery evening outing we’ve had in a long time.

For the starters, we opted for the Hunan Style Prawns, Drums of Heaven and the Mixed Non-Veg Dream Light Platter. Each of them left us with a lasting taste and ensured that we’d come back for more very soon. The prawns were crispy and juicy while the sauce used in cooking it gave it an all the more tangy, spicy twist. The dream platter was truly straight out of our wildest imagination and had a combination of greatly prepared fish, chicken, prawns and mutton chops.

Though the starters were rather heavy, we managed to order a few things for our main course too. Though we had a variety of dishes, we would suggest the Indian lamb chops with jus and they are certainly flavourful to the last bite. One of the best things we tasted was the Salli Boti, which was rich, tender and gamey to say the least.

Cooked with some gur it gave the dish a very rich flavour that went well with the naans. Apart from that, when you’re here, you can also try the pastas and pizzas, which are amazing in their own way.

Well, there you have it folks, Peacock Rooftop Restaurant in Jaipur is winning over hearts and there’s no reason that you should miss it.
