You have to go to the head office, get the required documents, fill out long forms, wait in endless queues and what not. From July however, you’ll be able to register for these services online. As part of the online portal, you can get NOCs (no objection certificates) for fires, birth certificates, marriage certificates and trade license and even e-auctions. Here’s how:

What’s the update?
With the heat beating down upon us, any small task could seem like a long and painful one. The Jaipur civic body has now realized that and have planned to put several of their services online. This change to the current system comes as part of a scheme that goes by the name “Smart Raj Scheme” and under this, 31 local bodies have already got an online presence.
The required hardware and software has been set up in these administrative offices and by July 31, it will be put into place in the remaining 41 offices as well. This will not only make matters easy for the commoner, but also for those that work in these high pressure offices.
With the help of the upcoming and existing online portals, you can get NOC hassle free. You can easily apply for building plan approval, trade license and e-auction and a few more important services. The implementation of the same is going on in full swing and we are happy that the authorities are taking a step in a right direction.
Essentially, the goal of this new change is to make Jaipur more technology friendly and future proof. Now everything is online and this is a much needed change to the way that these documents are procured. By July end, you should certainly see a difference in the way the city functions.
