A visit to one of the most authentic Italian places in the city will have you coming back for more and more. Blending the best of Italian cookery with a classy ambience that makes you feel like you’re in Italy itself, it is a treat to be here. Some of their best dishes are the Tagliatelle pasta (which is freshly kneaded, btw) paired with some lamb ragu and a sauce made of minced meat, the dish truly sends out an explosion of flavours once it hits your tongue. Apart from that, the wood fired pizzas are the real deal as it is served with a topping of either salamis, hams or pulled lamb.

Iso Cafe and Bar

If you’re looking for a place where you can chill with a few friends over a glass of beer and some nice food, then Iso Cafe and Bar should be your next stop. Combining cafe like vibes with some seriously flavourful food, there’s something here for everyone. The last time we were here, we went for the Penne with Sausage and Broccoli and a Gourmet Italiano Pizza. Both the dishes left us full and satiated, making the drinks and company all the more better.

LazyMojo

One of the most happening places in town, LazyMojo offers completely relaxing and inviting vibes. It has one of the best creamy cheese pastas in town. The sauce is absolutely delectable and has hints of various flavours infused in it. The pasta itself is nicely cooked, which gives it a soft texture that is complemented by the crunchy vegetables in the white sauce. If you’re not a white sauce kind of person, we would suggest going for the classic spaghetti bolognese, which is a delight in itself.

The Verandah

The Verandah is one place that not only brings the best of Italy on a platter, but also combines it with a fine dining experience. The cuisine here is absolutely true to its roots and transports you to the streets of Sicily. With a classy indoor as well as poolside outdoor seating, there’s really nothing more that you’ll crave here. The best dishes to try here are the Gnocchi de Patate, which comes with bacon and a minty, tangy sauce, the Lasagna el Zafferano, paired with bolognese sauce and a parmesan glaze.

Fumo Attico

Fumo Attico has a few great dishes in its menu but visitors must keep in mind that it only serves vegetarian. The non vegetarians won’t miss the meat much because there’s loads of different spins and twists on the classic Italian dishes. You’ve got a pizza that’s all nutella, a Nawabi pizza which combines the best of Indian spice with Italian subtlety and of course, the classic Arancini which is Risotto balls with cheese and bell peppers served with marinara sauce. For something more than just the usual Italian fare, this is where you have to be.
