IIT Kanpur develops world's first AC air purifier that eliminates pollutants in JUST 30 minutes

Named the AC Air Purifier Module (APM), this device can eliminate 50% of PM2.5 microns from the air within half an hour.

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur have come up with another groundbreaking piece of innovation with the AC Air Purifier Module (APM). Conceptualized by a startup incubated at IIT Kanpur, the said AC Air Purifier requires no electricity supply to function.

Furthermore, this AC Air Purifier's claim to fame isn't just the fact that its super-easy to use but it is its ability to cleanse the air of 50% of PM2.5 microns within just 30 minutes.

Costs only 10% of the price you pay for traditional air purifiers

This air purifying device can be used by simply placing it on top of an indoor split AC unit. The APM is as easy to use as it is on your pocket, being available at 1/10th of the price you pay for a traditional air purifier available in the market. Currently, this IIT Kanpur device is available on the official AiRTH website and other e-commerce platforms.

It is noteworthy that the dust and other allergens that this purifier eliminates can lead to asthma and other respiratory issues. And in a recent testing at the National Aerosol Facility in IIT Kanpur, this AC Air Purifier removed over 80% of PM2.5 microns from air within just two hours of use.
