Cities in Uttar Pradesh are finally experiencing a drop in temperatures as November ends. This Friday, Kanpur saw a minimum temperature of 10.6°C with nighttime fog.
According to the IMD, the city has seen a 2°C drop in minimum temperatures over the past three days. Today, similar conditions are expected, with a maximum temperature of 26.2°C and a minimum of 11°C.
This sudden temperature drop is linked to active western disturbances in northern India. The IMD forecasts further cooling, along with increased fog in the late hours.
