If just by thinking of the word Malhaur, all you can think of is an incomplete flyover that is never spoken off, you definitely are an Amitian. But worry not, because the work has been once again given a go ahead and this time, it might actually come as a bane to you.
It’s been almost 4 years since the work of the Malhaur crossing flyover started, for easy movement of the college going students. What began as a move to ease travelling, has been a big road block for so many years, and has only made reaching the Amity Campus an uphill battle.
Eating up all the space, this incomplete flyover has given innumerable memories to the students and made them stronger, resilient! It has taught them the true meaning of what, the phrase- life is a road with lots of bumps, actually means. Isn’t it?
This flyover has also taught us to keep our hopes and expectations in control. Everyday of college for Amitians begins with struggle, right from the road to the classroom. Let’s see how many years it takes the flyover to get completed this time, and how many more batches pass out till the D day.
Till then, keep your calm and continue on this bumpy ride to Amity. It might make you miss your 9am lecture but at least it will make you a good driver/rider. Because once a person has traveled to Amity, there is no road that can stop him/her.
