With its latest announcement, Rajasthan Roadways has brought good news for all tourists and pilgrims travelling from Jaipur to Ayodhya, in Uttar Pradesh. As per reports, the authority has decided to deploy air-conditioned sleeper buses on the route linking Jaipur and Ayodhya. Slated to start operations from today, these buses shall traverse through Lucknow, Faizabad, Basti and Gorakhpur, amongst other cities of the state, before reaching their destination at Sunauli (Nepal Border).
Move to benefit tourists & pilgrims travelling to Ayodhya
Reportedly, the Managing Director of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation informed that such services are being planned, keeping in mind the benefit of the tourists and pilgrims. All set to ply on the Jaipur-Lucknow-Gorakhpur-Sunauli route, these buses shall also cater to the commuters travelling to Kanpur, Faizabad, Basti and other cities, besides Ayodhya.
As per reports, the MD further informed that the new buses will start their journey from Jaipur at 6:20 PM on all days of the week, shuttling passengers between the two prominent states. While a ticket to Lucknow is priced at ₹1,140, you will have to pay up ₹1,435 if your travel is bound for Ayodhya. In addition to this, the fare to Gorakhpur stands at ₹1,680 and the final destination Sunauli can be reached by paying a sum of ₹1,845.
Easing connectivity between two major states
Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, two of the most populated states in the country, witness a humongous count of passengers who undertake regular interstate trips. With developing resources and growing manpower, the two regions expect an increase in the number of commuters in the future. Besides this, the latest projects in Ayodhya would soon transform it into a spiritual hub, attracting visitors from all across the country.
