Lucknow University pairs up with Awoke India to offer practical training in Financial Management
In an attempt to augment the employability of students through skill development, Lucknow University has decided to initiate practical training sessions in financial management. On Tuesday, Lucknow University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Awoke India Foundation for the same. Read on to know more about this joint effort undertaken by LU and this social enterprise.

As per the MoU signed by the Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University and the Director of Awoke India Foundation, the counselling and guidance cell of LU will assist students in their start-up journey and entrepreneurship. Under the ambit of this initiative, various internship opportunities will be offered to the students to make them industry-ready with on-the-job practical training.
Apart from this, training programmes and workshops will also be conducted for students to help them in understanding the primary concept of entrepreneurship. Notably, Awoke India is a Civil Society Organisation that focuses on areas like financial literacy, education and skill development. As per the experts, this collaboration between LU and AIF is aimed to improve the employability of students.
