Uber has expanded its Uber Pet service to Mumbai on March 6, 2025, making it easier for pet owners to travel with their dogs, cats, and other furry companions. The service, which was initially launched in Bengaluru last year, now allows Mumbai residents to book pet-friendly rides with convenience.

Pet owners can access Uber Pet both on-demand and through the Reserve option. Booking an Uber Pet ride is simple—just select the Uber Pet option in the app while entering your destination. Whether it’s a vet visit or a fun outing, pet-friendly travel just got a whole lot easier.
The ride-hailing platform has also partnered with pet care brand Heads Up for Tails (HUFT) to offer special discounts for riders travelling with pets to HUFT stores and spas across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, enhancing the overall pet travel experience.
Shweta Mantri, the Head of Rider Verticals at Uber India and South Asia, expressed excitement about launching Uber Pet in Mumbai, highlighting the increased flexibility it offers pet owners to travel with their pets. She also mentioned that, based on feedback from pet parents, Uber had introduced the option to book Uber Pet on-demand, making pet travel more convenient than ever.
