Talking about its legendary revival, the area opposite to the St. Stephens Church was once a desolate dumping ground for three long decades. In 2016, the ambitious reconditioning project was set into motion by the collaborative efforts of Abraham John Architects, their not-for-profit platform Bombay Greenway, LittleBigCity and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
In a span of just 3 years, this visionary firm breathed new life into the forgotten space, sculpting it into a vibrant multi-utility haven. With utmost dedication, they sculpted an amphitheatre that resonates with stories waiting to unfold.

Today, this extraordinary space serves as a melting pot, where individuals from diverse backgrounds intermingle. This exceptional pedestrian-only area, is a graceful host to a myriad of cultural events, engaging activities and captivating art shows that unfold from time to time.
