The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has got a new and exciting offer for Lucknow's travel junkies and beach bums. After receiving multiple requests from prospective travellers, IRCTC has now launched a tour from Lucknow to Andaman Island, set to begin from 19th November. Passengers will be travelling by air, with a connecting flight via Kolkata, to and from Port Blaire.

Spanning across 5 nights and 6 days, the trip will commence on 19th November from Lucknow. Because of the unavailability of direct flights from Lucknow, a connecting flight via Kolkata will be utilised for the journey. However, the time spent in Kolkata will not go to waste, as the travellers will get to visit the Victoria Memorial and Kalighat Temple as part of the package.

Once in Port Blaire, the travellers will be visiting all the important tourist places in Andaman. These include the Corbyn's Cove Beach, the Samudrika Marine Museum, the Cellular Jail (along with the light and sound show), and the Sagarika Emporium. In Havelock, they will be visiting Radhanagar Beach, Kalapathar Beach and Baratang Island.
