4 new Omicron cases reported in Jaipur on Wednesday

Omicron threat has increased in Jaipur as new cases of this COVID variant have been detected in the city. A total of 4 cases were reported on Wednesday, which includes a tourist from Kenya and 3 Jaipur residents. According to the officials, the 27-year-old traveller from Kenya is currently undergoing treatment in Delhi. The 3 locals include a couple from Burmese colony and an individual from Pratap Nagar and are not related to each other.

The cause of concern here is the fact that these 3 people have no travel history, which only points towards the beginning of contact spread in the state.
