Continuing the beautification work in Jaipur, the Rajasthan Housing Board has decided to build another jogging track in the city. Notably, the upcoming track at the Mansarovar area will be built on the lines of Jaipur’s first jogging track at Central Park. Apart from this, spanning over the area of 52 acres, this development project will also include a park covering more than half of the entire land.
Park to be developed on the guidelines of SAI

In an attempt to improve the appearance of the city by adding the much-needed greenery, the RHB is working upon a facelift project in the Mansarovar area. Under the ambit of this project, a park and a jogging track are being built in Jaipur. According to reports, the upcoming park is being constructed in line with the guidelines of the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
A flower show is also set to take place in February next year in this park, for which the concerned department is planting seasonal flowers currently. With the board proposing to plant around 21,000 trees of 32 different species, this arboriculture work is likely to complete in the next three years.
Jogging track to be completed by August 2022
As per the officials, apart from offering green space, the park will also house the 213 feet tall national flag, the tallest one in Jaipur. Upon completion, this park, especially the 3.5-kilometre long jogging track is expected to benefit residents of more than 50 colonies near the Mansarovar area. Notably, the work of jogging tracks is likely to be completed by August 2022.
