Train set unveiled for the first time in Kanpur!
Notably, the first set of coaches for Kanpur Metro that was flagged off from the Savli Plant in Gujarat on September 18 reached Kanpur on September 27. These coaches were not shown to the public as they were directly moved to the assembling area without unveiling.
Reportedly, post assembling, the first set of coaches that had arrived last month, will soon go for a trial-run on the tracks. Purportedly, UPMRC will need 8 train sets for operations on the 9-kilometre stretch which would be supplied by the end of this year.
