Launched by the Central Railway, the exquisite fine-diner is a revamped discarded rail coach that promises to offer a unique experience to its patrons. As per railway officials, the Restaurant on Wheels aims to become a popular landmark eatery in South Mumbai, with its one-of-a-kind 'rail themed' setting and ambiance.

Hop aboard the Vistadome coach of the Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express to cruise along a scenic ride!

Redefining train travel, the Indian Railway's Central Railway zone has decided to add a Vistadome coach in the Mumbai-Pune Deccan Special Train, which is all set to hit the tracks from June 26. It is for the first time that such luxury coaches will run along the scenic route, offering a scenic cruise to all travellers, between the two cities. As per protocols amid the COVID outbreak, only passengers having reserved tickers will be allowed to board the special service, in compliance with all SOPs and other safety norms.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) towers majestically in the heart of Mumbai and since its establishment, it has watched the city evolve as one of the fastest flourishing metropolitan cities of India. A marvellous specimen of Victorian and European gothic school of architecture, the design of this C-shaped building boasts of unique elements which give it a typical Bombay-vintage charm. This sprawling terminal was built over a period of 10 years starting in 1878 and since then, it scaled to become of the busiest railway terminus across India! Central Railways to amp up local train fleet, will operate 500 additional trains in Mumbai

On Sunday, Mumbai's Central Railways in Mumbai decided to add around 500 trains to the operations already running on the Central Line. With the current service count at 1410 across the city, the Western Zonal authorities too have decided to introduce about 110 new operations to meet with the rising demands of the unlocking Mumbai.
