Failed students of grades 9 & 11 in Goa may get to sit for 2022 Boards in lieu of the pandemic

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has come up with a special scheme to help the failed candidates of grades 9 and 11. Reportedly, the officials are thinking to introduce a policy, wherein the unsuccessful students of standards 9 and 11 exams from the 2021 session, can appear as private applicants for the 10th and 12th board exams in 2022. As per reports, this will be a one-time provision and the citizens have been requested to send in their suggestions.

Offline classes resume for students of 1-5 in all MP districts except Indore

According to the directives of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, schools reopened their premises for elementary classes at a 50% capacity from Monday, September 20 after around 18 months. However, schools in Indore for classes 1-5, have not reopened yet. As per the recent updates, the resumption of elementary classes(offline mode) in private schools in Indore, will take place in October.

All educational institutes in UP to remain shut for 2 days due to incessant rains

Owing to the continuous downpour, the government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to shut down schools, colleges and all the other educational institutes in the state for 2 days. As per the notification issued by the state government on Thursday, all educational centres will remain closed on Friday and Saturday. Various districts of the state, including the capital city Lucknow, have witnessed incessant rainfall for the past 40 hours.
