To re-ignite the dying flame of your 2023 fitness resolutions, we’ve compiled a list of marathons in Lucknow this year. Fortunately, not all of these runs are just round the corner. Some are already on while others will give you months to prepare.
So, buckle up Lucknowites! Or should we say, lace up Lucknowites and lets strain every sinew in our bodies to get to that finish line.
Virtual Marathon & Cyclothon
This one’s for those who have have been running for a while because it has already started. The best part about this one? It’s a virtual marathon and cyclothon that you can participate in at a time and place of your choosing. Register for FREE, track your performance and submit it, it’s that simple. Hurry up, though, you’ve only got till 29th!
Shield Defence Academy Half Marathon
Participate in the Shield Defence College half marathon in 4 different categories. These include a 3 km fun run, 5 km non-timed run, 10 km run, and a 21km half marathon. And guess what? There are cash prizes up to Rs 21k for the winners in the last two categories. There’s a live band and non-stop music, too, in case you need some mid-marathon motivation!
Monthly Running Challenge
If you’re one of those competitive souls who isn’t satisfied with just completing a fun run, here’s a slew of virtual running challenges you can participate in. There are both running and cycling challenges available in this monthly challenge by Champion Athletes Club. This one’s going to be on for the entirety of January.
Lucknow Glow Run
For those who prefer running in the night, the Lucknow Glow Run is the perfect event. To be held on 22 April, 2023, the theme of this year’s night half marathon is “women empowerment”. You can participate in other categories, too, including the 3 km and 5 km “glow run” and the 10 km “neon run”.
Lucknow Half Marathon 3rd Edition
For this one, you almost have a year to prepare. So, if participating in some serious endurance sport has been on your list of things to do in life, you can’t miss out on this half marathon! in Lucknow. You also have the option to participate in the 2km, 5km, and 10km categories as well. But, let’s be honest! If you’re going to prepare for months, why not take on the 21km challenge?
